MVO: We had dinner about half eight. He said he was going out, kissed my mum goodbye then ran upstairs. A minute later I heard the front door slam. That was the last time I saw him.

A bit later there was a knock on the door. It was Levi, so I went out to kotch with the mandem.

About 10.30 I got a call from my mum. I was like ‘Mum? Ringing me at this time?’ I could hear her sobbing, so I said:
    ‘Mum?’.
    No answer.
    Then I hear ‘...he’s dead’.
    I’m like ‘Who’s dead?’.
    ‘Tyrone’.
    Silence.

I put the phone down and run to my house. I got through the door and see my mum crying on the bottom of the stairs. I asked her: ‘how did he get killed?’
    ‘He got stabbed’.

I quickly run upstairs to check if my knife was there, it was gone. I laid on my bed and thought, ‘I killed my brother’.

Then I heard my mum call my name. We had to go and identify the body.

ANN: If you carry a knife you're more likely to get stabbed.
