Description of Ambient execution
To dramatize the lightness and unique engineering of Nike Flywire shoes within a relatively small budget, a public art display of sculptures was created. The installations combined replicas of famous athletes with wire, plexiglass, and other mixed media, which alluded to the distinct wire construction and light weight of Flywire shoes. Sculptor Leeroy New was also commissioned to develop large scale art pieces that referred to Flywire technology. Passersby could view and interact with the sculptures which were installed in the public spaces near the country’s largest Nike store.
