While its origins have been universally attributed to the armor-clad foot soldiers of the Roman Empire, earlier folklore has imputed the ancestry of Hopscotch to ancient China – dating back to 2357 BC.
The marker – an object representing the player’s soul – is cast through the playing terrain. As the player advances, they avoid the pitfalls of the dividing lines, only to return home upon reaching their destination.
Now, it goes without saying that Jeep isn’t just another average 4x4. This classic icon has laid its foundation as the symbol representing what lies deep inside each and every off-road enthusiast - the instinctive, incorruptible passion for adventure.
A visual depiction of the right of passage for Jeep owners, or a symbol for mankind’s conquest over the elements, either way, the ‘Hopscotch’ Print sums up what it means to live Jeep, and reminds us all that the world is our playground.
