Describe the brief from the client:
To create a distinctive name card for Mr.Chaiya Mahapab (Referee for the year - Thailand Premier League 2009), a FIFA Referee and Football Associate of Thailand Referee.
Description of how you arrived at the final design:
We looked at all imagery of football and finally concluded that the simplest communication for referees was something they used in their 90 minutes on the field - the yellow and red cards.
Indication of how successful the outcome was in the market:
The name card became well recognised and a collectors item amongst football fans - I've just got a red card from K.Chaiya" was one of the statements that appeared in the press and on football blogs.
