First Advertising festival Golden Hammer was held in 1994, in year 1999 the festival became international. Golden Hammer has gained a significant place among other advertising festivals. During these years it has become the only international advertising festival in the Baltic states, one of the largest in Eastern Europe. Every year Golden Hammer receives applications from around 20 countries.
Festival activities include - video screenings, print entries exhibition, marketing and advertising seminars read by leading international industry professionals.
Golden Hammer categories include video, print and outdoor advertising, advertising campaigns, art direction, direct marketing, media and interactive media and social advertising categories. Three festival jury teams - Creative jury, Media jury and Interactive media jury, will decide on the best works of the festival.
The best works from each category will be awarded with Grand Prix, while some sub-categories will be contesting for Golden Hammer and Silver Hammer awards.
The best agencies will receive main awards of the festival: “Media folder”, “Creativity case”, “Access key” and „Network of the year”.
