Each year, billions of gallons of rain runs off water-impervious surfaces such as concrete, metal, and asphalt. The overwhelming amount of water is too much for sewers to handle, which results in rainwater mixing with waste, causing health threats, beach closures, habitat degradation and swimming and fishing advisories. To help combat this, American Rivers, has created green rooftops that can trap and filter storm water rather than allowing it to run into sewers. The roofs go beyond health and provide cost benefits to both people and businesses as they greatly reduce heating, cooling and repair expenses. As part of the initiative, GSP has created online tools that help show companies how they can “green” their roof, as well as the environmental and economic savings that will result. In addition, GSP created a “seed slingshot bookmarklet” that users can use to “green” any web page on the internet and see the amount of savings that can come from going green. There are also online banners, Facebook and Twitter pages, video and print ads driving people to the online tool. The campaign’s goal is to educate people and businesses on the benefits of green rooftops, and encourage them to put pressure on city/national leadership to implement more green rooftops.&lt;br /&gt;

To launch the new adidas “Ready to Run” campaign in the Netherlands, we brought legendary goalkeeper Edwin Van der Sar back from retirement. We built a special “goal-barge” and gave the people of Amsterdam the chance to score against him, while he was moving along the canals. We teased the happening using Twitter, Facebook, blogs, and the adidas website - the final route of the Van der Sar barge, together with 4 shooting points, was only revealed minutes before start. Each shooting point had 10 balls ready and the first ones to arrive got a chance to shoot. By using the power of social media we made the people of Amsterdam run and gave them the chance to score against one of the best goalkeepers of all time.&lt;br /&gt;

There are many stereotypes about Russia – bears on the streets, vodka, nuclear power plants, unfriendly people and many others, which often scare off foreigners. To dispel these myths and increase the popularity of S7 Airlines’ international routes from Europe to Russia, Leo Burnett Moscow created an interactive print, using a non-traditional printing technique with thermochromic ink. As the “Russia. Where the cold is cool!” print, illustrated with Russian stereotypes, is placed in a freezer, at a certain temperature the special thermochromic ink will appear. The illustration will then gain a whole new meaning, contrary to what was first seen. It is with this unconventional method that Leo Burnett Moscow is communicating the main idea of the campaign – to see the real Russia, you need real Russian frost.&lt;br /&gt;
