If youâve got more than 100 or so friends on Facebook, chances are you donât know most of them very well. A new app from Ben & Jerryâs aims to change that.


The app, called âWanna Spoon?,â scours your Facebook friends to look for common connections like favorite bands, brands, vacation spots, birthdays and even relatives with the same name, among other stated details. When you match up with someone, you can notify them on their Wall with the following message: âUsing a fancy algorithm, Ben & Jerryâs decided weâd make great spooning partners.â The recipient is then prompted to click to see why and get a coupon for B&Jâs new Greek Frozen Yogurt.
