Describe the challenges and key objectives
We pretended to create a very exclusive catalogue to launch the collection that commemorates the 170th anniversary of the jewellery shop, one of the most traditional and long-established jeweller’s in Barcelona. The aim was to create a catalogue that gave a touch of distinction and exclusiveness to the brand.
Describe the brief from the client
Bagués Masriera wanted to create a catalogue on the occasion of the 170th anniversary of the jeweller’s, a limited edition of 2,300 numbered copies to give the anniversary the importance it deserves. With the catalogue they wanted to capture the essence of exclusiveness that the collection gives off.
Describe how you arrived at the final design
'Flip cards' have inspired the catalogue, cards all our clients had collected and played with during their childhood. So we have transformed every single jewel in a card inviting them to interact with it, and transporting them to the time when flip cards were the most precious jewels.
Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
A catalogue presented as a card collection that shows creatively the jewels collection that commemorates the 170th anniversary of Bagués Masriera.
